Winter Bells™

(Aloe Hybrid ‘LEO 8521A’)

Dainty plant with narrow dark green leaves with a reddish edge and bearing masses of pendulous ivory coloured bell-shaped flowers on a single inflorescence for up to 6 months in autumn and winter. Best grown as a pot specimen but can be planted in beds if the position is well protected and the soil is very free draining

Grows to approximately 20cm x 20cm
Clumping
Semi-shade but can take full sun if well protected
Low frost tolerance- keep protected
Medium rain tolerance
Prefers occasional watering in winter and regular watering in summer

Aloe Winter Bells™ (Aloe LEO 8521A) is being test marketed under section 43(6) of the Plant Breeders Rights Act, 1994 until 15 March 2012, after which full protection under the plant Breeders Rights Act is intended. Commercial propagation is prohibited.
